What is a Garmin Handheld GPS
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. GPS was originally intended for military applications, but in the 1980s, the government made the system available for civilian use. GPS works in any weather conditions, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. There are no subscription fees or setup charges to use GPS.
How it works
GPS satellites circle the earth twice a day in a very precise orbit and transmit signal information to earth. GPS receivers take this information and use triangulation to calculate the user's exact location. Essentially, the GPS receiver compares the time a signal was transmitted by a satellite with the time it was received. The time difference tells the GPS receiver how far away the satellite is. Now, with distance measurements from a few more satellites, the receiver can determine the user's position and display it on the unit's electronic map.
Wholesale Garmin GPS are available at a Garmin distributor.
Garmin Handheld GPS
Garmin International is proud to introduce its first two Garmin handheld GPS-enabled handheld devices for the Family Radio Service (FRS) and high-performance General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) markets – the Garmin handheld GPS Rino 110 and Garmin handheld GPS Rino 120. These GPS devices integrate radio functionality to provide two-way communications up to two miles using FRS channels and up to five miles using GMRS channels. Go to wholesale Garmin GPS to look up more information on wholesale Garmin products.
Inspired by the distinctive offset FRS and GPS antennas that give the devices their Rhinoceros-like appearance, Garmin designed the Rino series as powerful, robust Radios Integrated with Navigation for the Outdoors. They are also the only waterproof two-way radios on the market.
What really separates the Rino from the rest of the FRS herd is the ability to "beam" your exact location to another Rino user within a two-mile range using the FRS spectrum. This important feature is called Peer-to-Peer Positioning (see box at right for additional information).
The Rino boasts Garmin’s traditional tough, lightweight, waterproof design to handle the rigors of any outdoor adventure. And because the Rino has standard FRS capabilities, you can talk to friends or family who own conventional FRS radios.

Lowrance Handheld GPS
GPS stands for Global Positioning System. GPS is a navigational system that can accurately locate your position anywhere on the Earth. This technology is available to everyone, everywhere, day and night, and best of all, at no cost for use of the navigational data. A lowrance handheld GPS uses 24 satellites which are located 11,000 miles above the Earth. The satellites transmit data back to Earth and by locking onto this transmitted data, a lowrance handheld GPS receiver can process the data and tell you where you are on the Earth. Lowrance GPS products are GPS receivers. These products gather data from a satellite and display your location on a screen.
GPS works 24 hours a day, in all weather conditions, and can be used worldwide for precise navigation on land, on water and even in the air. Some of its many current applications include: boating, fishing, hunting, scouting on land or from the air, hiking, camping, biking, rafting, pack trips by horseback, hot air ballooning, general aviation, snowmobiling and skiing, search and rescue, emergency vehicle tracking, off-road, highway driving and a host of other outdoor activities where a lowrance handheld GPS would be helpful with accurate positioning.

Wholesale Dropshippers
Drop Shipping News
Drop Shipping is used by middlemen and mail order firms who DO NOT STOCK INVENTORY of the products sold for future delivery through mail order, catalog and INTERNET ADVERTISING. Middlemen send single unit orders for products to manufacturers, or major dropship companies, who in turn drop ship the merchandise direct to the customers of the middlemen. Manufacturers providing wholesale dropship services can gain additional sales, shift advertising costs to middlemen, offer advertising material and reduce inventory requirements. Middlemen who initiate wholesale dropship orders shift the risks of stocking inventory to the supply source, including storage, insurance, overhead, and personnel BY SPENDING NOTHING ON INVENTORY, until AFTER THE PRODUCT IS SOLD.
Having products
wholesale dropship by manufacturers, allows middlemen to
concentrate on sales and advertising functions, rather than stocking
INVENTORY THAT IS ALREADY BEING STORED BY MANUFACTURERS. All of the
costs of warehousing and the personnel needed to pick, pack and ship
products are eliminated. Orders can be sent by fax or email direct to
the drop shipping supply source. Small firms can compete and advertise
a tremendous number of products on Internet malls, if the product
supply source will
wholesale dropship. But not all Manufacturers will be a
Wholesale Dropshipper: most prefer to sell in quantity to
full function middlemen who stock inventory, as products are
physically shifted through the channel of distribution. Examples of
dropship companies are CWR Electronics, a
wholesale electronics
distributor and

the retail industry.
